We did the 5k Run for Prevention and Treatment of Cancer on Pat’s Team he created called #THEMOVEMENT. Pat is a friend of mine, young guy, only 27, and this past June he went to the doctors and found out he had testicular cancer. The next day, he went into surgery and a week later began chemotherapy. They discovered it in time to save his life, and he felt it was important to send the message out to get people to “GET EM CHECKED.” When detected early enough, this cancer can be beaten. With his movement, 2 of his friends discovered they had testicular cancer and began treatment immediately, saving their lives. ONE PERSON made a HUGE difference in these peoples lives, and he continues to spread the word. “GET EM CHECKED!” thank you for all those who donated and ran with us at the 5k.
